The authors describe a case of a "separate" type of salivary adenocarcinoma-like tumor. The growth is described as a papillary cystadenocarcinoma of the submaxillary gland, which should be distinguished from degenerate adenolymphoma. This malignant tumor, which remains "enclosed" until late, grows slowly and should be checked regularly over a protracted period of time following surgical excision performed in accordance with cancer therapy specifications.

A case of cancer of the small bowel associated with Crohn's disease with onset 21 years after the first clinical signs of the latter is reported. Three hundred and sixty seven neoplastic colorectal polyps removed at endoscopy of which 34 were complicated by invasive carcinoma, were reviewed clinically and histologically to assess the prevalence and clinical significance of venous and or lymphatic invasion. Nevus cell aggregates occurring in association with axillary lymph nodes can be difficult to recognize and differentiate from a metastatic breast carcinoma. We believe S100-protein immunoreactivity, along with negative staining for keratin and epithelial membrane antigen, and typical geographic distribution of nevus cell aggregates in lymph nodes are helpful in providing an accurate diagnosis.

Thirty-four patients with adrenocortical carcinoma were treated with o,p'-DDD. Twenty-eight patients presented with metastases at entry, and spillage of tumour cells occurred at surgery in 6 other patients.
