PURPOSE: To present clinical findings and eye movement recordings of two children who had clinically apparent monocular nystagmus.

PURPOSE: To describe the technique and outcomes of limbal stem cell-sparing lamellar keratoplasty (LSCS-LKP) for the management of advanced keratoglobus (KGB).
METHODS: In a sequential interventional case series from March 2010 to December 2012, 8 eyes of 6 patients with advanced KGB underwent an LSCS-LKP. Three patients had isolated KGB, 2 were affected with the Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and the other subject had osteogenesis imperfecta. We describe nine patients who had phacomorphic or phacolytic glaucoma. After intraocular pressure (IOP) was reduced medically, all patients had extracapsular cataract extraction. All had intraocular lens implantation except one. The surgery improved visual acuity and resulted in normal IOP in all eyes.

The Charles Bonnet syndrome consists of visual hallucinations usually described in patients with bilateral eye pathology. The hallucinations are vivid and usually of a pleasant nature. Patients ordinarily maintain insight into the unreal nature of the visions. The syndrome appears to have an ophthalmologic and neurologic disease etiology.
