In order to assess the usefulness of ultrasonography in the preoperative evaluation of de Quervain's disease, we retrospectively analyzed the ultrasonographic findings in 32 patients, and compared these findings with operative findings. The axillary node status is important in the prognosis of breast cancer. To evaluate the accuracy of various preoperative examination methods in detecting metastatic axillary lymph nodes, we compared the findings of clinical examination, axillary ultrasonography, and axillary mammography of 41 breast cancer patients who underwent axillary dissection and histological examination. INTRODUCTION: Acute swelling and discoloration of the scrotum in a newborn is a rare condition and can have several causes such as testicular torsion, trauma, inguinal hernia, hydrocele, or adrenal hemorrhage.
CASE PRESENTATION: We report a neonate of adrenal hemorrhage presenting clinically as the acute scrotum. Definitive diagnosis was defined by ultrasonography and computed tomography scan, and the conservative management was successfully performed.

An evaluation of 21 patients with tuberculous pleurisy was carried out to assess the role of ultrasonography in the diagnosis of tuberculous pleural effusion. Results of diagnosing pyelonephritis in 106 patients using ultrasonography, CT and thermovision were analyzed.
