Posterior shoulder instability (PSI) accounts for 2% to 10% of all shoulder instability, with recurrent posterior subluxation being the most common type. BACKGROUND: This study aimed to evaluate the clinical and radiological outcome after cheilectomy and proximal phalangeal biplanar osteotomy for patients with mild and advanced stages of hallux rigidus.
METHODS: A total of 105 feet (grades 0-4) were treated with cheilectomy and a Moberg-Akin osteotomy of the proximal phalanx. All patients were clinically assessed preoperatively and followed up for 12 months by range of motion, visual analog scale (VAS) pain score, American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) score, Short Form 36 (SF-36) score, and weightbearing radiographs.

INTRODUCTION AND HYPOTHESIS: This study aims to introduce a new pelvic reconstructive procedure and assess its safety and efficacy.
METHODS: Anatomic dissection was performed on ten Chinese female cadavers. The fascia 1 cm horizontally lateral to the ischial spine was firm and strong with no major vessels or nerves in the area. Cholecystectomy is a common surgical procedure performed in patients with sickle cell disease (SCD). Postoperative complications, including acute painful vaso-occlusive crisis and acute chest syndrome, have been described frequently after either traditional or laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC). It's still not clear if preoperative blood transfusion, hyperhydration, intraoperative body temperature conservation may reduce complications rate. We recently treated three patients with chronic renal failure who required subclavian vein cannulation with Uldall catheters following thrombosis of their arteriovenous fistulae. Midgut malrotation and internal herniation due to Ladd's band in adults is sparsely described. Due to the low incidence and the uncharacteristic symptoms, the diagnosis and treatment is often delayed causing increased morbidity. In this case report, a 68-year-old man was hospitalised with severe abdominal pain. A computed tomography showed abnormal placement of the small bowel loops and torsion of the small bowel mesentery. He underwent a laparoscopic procedure which revealed internal herniation due to a Ladd's band. He recovered uneventfully, and an elective Ladd's procedure was scheduled.

Antiplatelet agents are routinely given to prevent thrombosis of coronary stents. Often this occurs during or immediately after the procedure, while the patient is still on the catheterisation laboratory table. Ingestion of pills while supine sometimes causes mild dysphagia and discomfort but, rarely, it can cause a more severe complication. We report a case of clopidogrel ingested during PCI, which caused chest pain and pill oesophagitis after the procedure. Conservative treatment was effective, symptoms resolved, and follow-up endoscopy showed resolution of the oesophageal inflammation.
