A cross-sectional survey was undertaken to estimate the prevalence of child maltreatment and adverse childhood experiences in the Czech Republic, as data on these is scarce. The survey was conducted among 1760 randomly selected students from five Czech universities. Participants filled in the adverse childhood experiences survey instrument. Trichotillomania (TTM), a repetitive hair-pulling disorder, is underrepresented in the clinical literature. Gambling on college and professional sports and the influence of attending colleges with differing levels of "sports interest" were examined among athletes, sports fans, and other students (N = 10,559) at 119 colleges in the United States using multilevel statistical analysis. Burn injuries treated with adequate immediate first aid are associated with more favourable outcomes, limiting tissue damage and subsequent morbidity including the need for surgery. Cool running water at a temperature of between 10-15 degrees C for 20 to 30 minutes is considered adequate burn first aid treatment. Reservoir herniation after scrotal placement of inflatable penile prosthesis is an unusual complication, and a review of the published medical reports reveals only anecdotal reports and no definitive articles.

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the incidence of Behçet disease among Japanese children and to compare their clinical features with adult patients. A first questionnaire was sent to the department of pediatrics of 1290 hospitals in Japan. Fifty-one cases of Behçet disease among children under 16 years of age were reported.
