Twenty-eight (1.69%) cases of primary synchronous bilateral breast cancer (PSBC) out of 1,654 new cases were studied. PSBC compared with unilateral cases had a significantly higher (p less than 0.001) first degree family history of breast cancer; high frequency of subareolar location; no predominance of lobular and non-invasive types; no significantly different percentage of pathological stage I presentation. As there is no complete agreement on what constitutes a PSBC, studies should be carried out to formulate a more precise definition of this entity.

Secondary involvement of the duodenum by other malignancies or enlarged para aortic nodes is common but isolated duodenal secondaries arising on account of haematogenous spread is rare. Our case of duodenal obstruction due to an isolated duodenal metastasis as a result of haematogenous spread is unique in the literature.

Cutaneous metastases (CMs) of internal malignancies are uncommon. The breast in women and the lung in men represent the two elective sites of internal malignancies metastasizing to the skin. The aim of this study was to determine the epidemiologic, clinical, and pathologic features of CMs. A retrospective study of the patients diagnosed with CMs over 30 years was conducted. PURPOSE: This study aimed to assess clinical, treatment, and prognostic features in patients with brain metastases (BM) from solid tumors achieving long-term survival (LTS). Further, the accuracy of diagnosis-specific Graded Prognostic Assessment scores (ds-GPA) to predict LTS was evaluated.

OBJECTIVES: This study aims to characterize patient experiences with biomarker testing, including history of biomarker testing, related communication and education, self-perceived familiarity and informational needs.
