Early-stage penile squamous cell carcinoma with subsequent distant metastases is rare. We report a case of a 35-year-old man with Stage pT1pN0 penile squamous cell carcinoma who underwent circumcision and bilateral inguinal lymphadenectomy. Further in the disease course, the patient developed metastases in the kidney, adrenal gland, retroperitoneal lymph nodes, lung, and brain. He underwent multiple resections, whole brain radiotherapy, and several chemotherapy regimens. All these metastases were histologically confirmed. Tracheal agenesis is a rare and uniformly lethal congenital malformation. It presents with severe respiratory distress at birth. In this anomaly there is a congenital absence of the trachea and the bronchus communicates with the esophagus. The diagnosis should be suspected in newborn infant with respiratory distress whose intubation is impossible. This report describes our experience in two such cases.

The authors describe a case of fatal hypermagnesemia caused by an Epsom salt enema. A 7-year-old male presented with cardiac arrest and was found to have a serum magnesium level of 41.2 mg/dL (33.9 mEq/L) after having received an Epsom salt enema earlier that day. The medical history of Epsom salt, the common causes and symptoms of hypermagnesemia, and the treatment of hypermagnesemia are reviewed. The easy availability of magnesium, the subtle initial symptoms of hypermagnesemia, and the need for education about the toxicity of magnesium should be of interest to physicians.

The purpose of this report is to highlight the utility of prenatal MRI as an adjunctive imaging modality in the diagnosis and prognosis of Tuberous Sclerosis (TS) (Bourneville's disease). Anomalies occur with a greater frequency in twin gestations. Due to its multifactorial inheritance, twins are usually discordant for encephalocele. We present a case of monoamniotic twins concordant for occipital encephalocele and discordant for lung and cord anomalies.
