A case of extreme distal migration of the left maxillary canine is reported. The canine had erupted buccal to the contact area between the left second premolar and first molar. Past reports of similar ectopia are reviewed.

Rapid maxillary expansion (RME) is an orthopaedic treatment frequently used to correct transversal problems in the maxilla. PHACE(S) syndrome is a condition characterized by posterior fossa malformations, hemangiomas, arterial anomalies, cardiac defects, eye abnormalities, sternal cleft, and supraumbilical raphe. This clinical investigation examined the effect of a single subgingival irrigation of chlorhexidine 0.2% or sanguinarine on gingivitis affecting orthodontically banded first molars in adolescent patients. A study was conducted to evaluate the success rates of bypassing or removing fragments of instruments that had fractured within the roots of mandibular molars using a HBW Ultrasonic Ring. Forty extracted first permanent mandibular molars with root canal curvature were included.
