The purpose of this paper is to discuss the avulsion of a primary maxillary first molar in a 22-month-old child, which occurred while she had a training cup in her mouth. The parents noticed bleeding in the mouth and a missing tooth, and brought the child to a pediatric emergency department. A clinical assessment by the pediatric dental team confirmed the avulsion and since the tooth could not be located, a radiograph of the chest was obtained to rule out aspiration. The chest radiograph showed the tooth to be in the proximal jejunum.

Full-coverage restorations are indicated for posterior primary teeth as definitive treatments for high caries-risk children and in patients whose treatment is being performed under general anesthesia. Advances in biomaterials and parental preferences have driven interest in esthetic full coverage treatment options for primary posterior teeth. The prefabricated resin crown offers a 'flex fit' adaptation over the anatomic cervical convexity of the primary clinical crown, similar in functionality to a stainless steel crown. A new commercial product, BioFlx, hopes to address the ductility, color s

Bilateral dentigerous cysts (DC) associated with unerupted mandibular first molars in a non-syndromic pediatric individual are rare. Secondary infections may lead to complications, such as discomfort due to pain, disfigurement caused by enlargement of the cyst with cortical expansion of the jawbone, displacement of teeth and paraesthesia of the adjacent nerve. This case report describes the occurrence of bilateral DC in an eight-year-old patient. Marsupialization was the treatment of choice to preserve the permanent teeth and other adjacent tissues.

GAPO syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive genetic disorder, characterized by growth retardation, alopecia, pseudoanodontia, and progressive ocular changes. This disorder is caused by recessive mutations in the ANTXR1 gene and has characteristic dysmorphic facial features along with connective tissue changes, cardiomyopathy, gonadal dysfunction and craniosynostosis. The most common dental implication of GAPO syndrome is pseudoanodontia caused by eruption failure of the primary and permanent dentition. Currently, there is no standard treatment for patients with GAPO syndrome. Management often
