The effectiveness of 2 angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, intravenous enalaprilat and oral captopril, in stimulating renin secretion was compared in 47 hypertensive patients with suspected renovascular hypertension. Both inhibitors were more effective stimuli to renin secretion than head-up tilting of the patient. Seventy-two consecutive patients with electrocardiographic evidence of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome underwent electrophysiological study (EPS).
