A covariation bias (CB) reflects the overestimation of an objectively random covariation between fear-relevant picture stimuli (e.g., spiders) and aversive consequences (e.g., electric shocks). We present a study of the reflexes of bladder, urethra and periurethral striated muscles in the cat. The study in vivo shows that a passive muscle tonus of the urethra is able to maintain the continence. We examined audiometric data of 30 medically confirmed cases of osteogenesis imperfecta, evaluating pure tone threshold and impedance data to determine the prevalence, type, and degree of hearing loss in five kindreds. Classification of essential tremor was attempted using tremor frequency; tremor duration; family history of tremor; responsiveness to alcohol, propranolol, and primidone; muscle contraction pattern; and long-latency reflexes. The clinical records of 72 patients with spinocerebellar ataxias which had manifested before the age of 20, were examined in a retrospective study. Eight preterm infants are presented to demonstrate the indications and hazards of using atropine for treatment of bradycardia in the high-risk premature nursery.
