OBJECTIVE: To determine whether deficient early callus formation can be defined objectively based on the association with an eventual nonunion and specific patient, injury, and treatment factors.

It is mostly associated with fracture non-union of the Hook of Hamate resulting in roughened bone surfaces which over time can erode the flexor tendons. BACKGROUND: Cubitus varus is the most common delayed complication of pediatric supracondylar humerus fractures. We developed a new technique, the triple modified French osteotomy, that we believe may be the answer to this common but yet unsolved deformity.
