This paper analyses the results of post-operative radiotherapy in 256 cases of cancer of the corpus uteri. Myometrial invasion by tumour was shown to be significantly related to histological grading (p less than 0.001) as it was to recurrence rates (p less than 0.025). By placing patients into one of three subsets according to the depth of myometrial invasion, survival was sufficiently different for each subset to validate their use, not only for prognostic purposes but to determine the type of radiotherapy indicated. A retrospective histologic study of 145 consecutive autopsy cases of systemic malignant lymphomas (including lymphatic leukemias) was performed. The classification followed the Kiel Classification (Gérard-Marchant et al., 1974). There was an overall secondary CNS involvement in 26.2% of the total or in 30.4% of the non-Hodgkin's lymphomas including ALL, with intracranial lesions in 21.4 and 26.1%, respectively, and spinal epidural spread in 5.5 (5.1%). Fifteen patients with suspicion of metastases of the liver were examined in order to demonstrate the angiographic signs and the diagnostic possibilities of retrograde hepatic vein angiography. By this method, in all of our patients a scintigraphically doubtful or suspicious finding could be cleared up. Since hepatic vein angiography is superior to arteriography, sonography and scintigraphy with regard to identification of minor metastases, but is technically a complicated special examination, it should be applied as an extended diagnostic measure additionally to the other examinations.

The twelft case of synovial sarcoma of the neck originated in the base of the tongue at the foramen caecum is reported. The patient, a 21 year old man developed a 7 cm. tumor after a 5 month period. The case of a 39-year-old man with a perianal verrucose carcinoma of 12 years' duration is presented. After local resection the tumor recurred several times and spread to the rectum. An abdominoperineal resection revealed neither infiltration of deeper layers nor lymph-node metastasis. Five other cases of perianal verrucose carcinoma, only two of which were described in detail, have been reported. Probably other examples have been reported under the names of "perianal florid papillomatosis,"13,23 "giant condyloma acuminatum"26 and "condyloma acuminatum with malignant transformation."9,12,27
