Endogenous Cushing's syndrome (CS) is a rare disease characterized by prolonged glucocorticoid excess. Timely diagnosis is critical to allow prompt treatment and limit long-term disease morbidity and risk for mortality. CASE PRESENTATION: In this case presentation, an 84-year-old male with Fitzpatrick type IV skin tone experienced blistering due to bullous pemphigoid (BP), first on the distal upper left extremity and then on the distal lower extremities, chest, and back. These symptoms resulted in three visits to the emergency department within a month, as well as an episode of hospitalization. INTRODUCTION: In this article, we discuss menstrual migraine (MM), which can be categorized as menstrually related migraine (MRM) or pure menstrual migraine (PMM). MM attacks are often longer, more severe, and harder to treat than other migraine attacks. Appropriate treatment strategies include acute treatment, short term preventive treatment, and daily preventive treatment, depending on the patient's pattern of migraine and occurrence of migraine outside the menstrual period.

Fungal infections of the external auditory canal can range from common (otomycosis) to life threatening (necrotizing otitis externa). Proper identification of fungal pathogens is necessary to guide appropriate therapy, and a high index of suspicion for fungal causes of ear canal disease is critical. Fungal pathogens may be an especially important cause of ear canal disease in certain populations, including patients with diabetes, patients recently treated with antibiotics, and immunosuppressed patients. Opportunistic fungal infections of the ear canal are an emerging concern.

PURPOSE: At the outset of the 2022 human monkeypox virus outbreak, the World Health Organization described the self-limited disease as a rash illness associated with nonspecific symptoms such as fever, myalgias, and lymphadenopathy.
