We report a rare case of angiomyofibroblastoma (AMFB) of the vulva, composed predominantly of a mature fatty component, representing approximately 60% of the entire tumour. The tumour, designated as "lipomatous AMFB", should be interpreted as the morphological result of an unbalanced bidirectional differentiation of the presumptive precursor stromal cell resident in the hormonally-responsive stroma of the lower genital tract, with the adipocytic component overwhelming the fibroblastic/myofibroblastic one. Myxofibrosarcoma of the spermatic cord is a rare condition. We present an unusual case of a 69-year-old gentleman who presented to the emergency department on two occasions with a right inguinoscrotal swelling. We will explore the diagnostic difficulties encountered and subsequent management. We will also highlight the importance of histological analysis when unexpected findings are encountered.

The fractionation sensitivity of a strongly immunogenic murine fibrosarcoma (FSa1) was tested in highly immunosuppressed (18 Gy whole body irradiation, 10 fractions, 4 days and bone marrow salvage) and control mice (C3Hf/Sed). Aberrant R-loops can cause genomic DNA damage.
