Multifocal adenomatous oncocytic hyperplasia (MAOH) is a non-neoplastic lesion that is classified as oncocytosis. MAOH is a rare entity of the parotid gland and accounts for approximately 0.1% of salivary gland lesions. Here, we report a case of MAOH of the parotid gland. INTRODUCTION: Unilateral condylar hyperplasia (UCH) is a disorder of unknown etiology mainly seen in growing patients, which results in facial asymmetry. High condylectomy alone or in association with orthognathic surgery can improve the occlusion and the facial aesthetics.

Life stressors and hormonal dysregulation in the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis are common factors that play a role in both anorexia nervosa (AN) and congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). Hemifacial hyperplasia (HFH) is an unusual congenital anomaly of debatable aetiology. It is characterised by facial asymmetry that is caused by a marked unilateral and localised overgrowth of facial soft tissues, bones and teeth. We report a case of true HFH with typical manifestations with a brief review of the clinical features and radiological findings associated with HFH, the differential diagnoses that should be considered and the available treatment options for HFH. It is hoped that this report will supplement the existing literature on this anomaly.

Congenital hemifacial hyperplasia is a rare developmental disorder of unknown etiology, characterized by a marked unilateral facial asymmetry. It involves the hard (bones and teeth) and soft tissues of the face. A 54-year-old man was referred to our center with a diagnosis of extrahepatic bile duct stenosis which had been detected by endoscopic retrograde choloangiopancreatography. INTRODUCTION: Ectopic tonsillar tissue simulating a benign tumor of the hypopharynx is described in this report.
CASE PRESENTATION: We report the case of a 79-year-old Japanese woman with globus sensation. Because clinical observation revealed benign features, tumor tissue was laryngoscopically resected. From the pathological features, for example, existence of germinal center, lymphoid tissue, and crypt involving lymphoepithelial symbiosis, we diagnosed that the lesion was a hyperplasia of ectopic tonsillar tissue.

Approximately 75%-80% of patients with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) fail to synthesize sufficient mineralocorticoids to maintain salt and water balance.
