We report a case of successful vaginal delivery after vaginal reconstruction with labium minus flaps in a 23-year-old patient with congenital vaginal atresia. The patient primarily presented with amenorrhea and cyclic abdominal pain; transabdominal ultrasonography revealed an enlarged uterus due to hematometra and absence of the lower segment of the vagina. The article presents a rare clinical observation of a vaginal tumor detected during pregnancy, which prevented delivery through the natural birth canal and caused a cesarean section at full term. According to the primary biopsy at 34 weeks, neurofibroma was diagnosed. In the postpartum period, due to profuse bloody discharge, the patient was admitted to the Moscow Regional Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology for surgical treatment, where, according to the results of a morphological study of the removed tumor, vaginal leiomyosarcoma was diagnosed.

Radical vaginal trachelectomy (RVT) is the oldest fertility-sparing procedure for stage 1b cervical cancer. For that reason, there are more published data for RVT than for all the other radical trachelectomy approaches. However, there are no randomised controlled studies between RVT and radical hysterectomy proving the comparability of survival and no randomised controlled studies comparing a vaginal approach with open, standard laparoscopy and robotic approaches. This article intends to describe the case selection, the procedure and outcomes for RVT.

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this article was to review the literature about vaginal winds (VW).
METHODS: A literature review (Medline database, Cochrane Library and Google scholar) with no time limit was performed using keywords "vaginal winds", "vaginal noise", "vaginal gaz", "flatus vaginalis", "vaginal flatus", "colpophony", "Garrulitas vulvae", "vaginal laxity".

A 46-year-old woman presented with a 2-week history of a painless golf ball sized lump in her vagina. Despite transvaginal ultrasound scan, biopsy and MRI, it was only after surgery had been performed that it became clear what the nature of the mass actually was.Immunohistochemistry revealed the lump to be an aggressive angiomyxoma. Follow-up MRI showed residual (or recurrence of) angiomyxoma which was successfully treated with monthly injections of Prostap (leuprorelin acetate), a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist. Further MRI showed complete resolution of the lesion.

BACKGROUND: Although rare, pregnant women can present with fibroepithelial polyps of the vagina. Most likely hormonally related, these polyps have been described in various locations of the lower female genital tract. They can be mistaken for malignant lesions due to hypercellularity and cytologic atypia.
CASE: We describe the case of a 31-year-old woman who presented with a polyp of the vagina during a postpartum visit.
RESULTS: Atypical cells were seen in hypercellular areas of the stroma of the polyp.
