BACKGROUND: Metastasis to the breast of an extra-mammary origin is very rare. FNAC plays an important role in differentiating non-mammary breast metastasis from primary malignancy. This study aimed to analyze the cytomorphological criteria and its pitfalls in differentiating metastatic lesion of the breast from primary malignancy.

Interval invasive breast cancers diagnosed after a normal mammogram but before the next screening examination have a different tumour biology than screen-detected breast cancers, and thus are not detected on mammography. AIM: To describe our experience from a single large sarcoidosis clinic.
METHODS: Retrospective chart review of 1000 sarcoidosis cases seen in our clinic from 2003 to 2008.
