OBJECTIVE: To investigate the treatment of spondylolisthesis with pedicle screw instrumentation and anterior or posterior lumbar interbody fusion.
METHODS: 26 patients, 14 males and 12 females, underwent spinal instrumentation with RF or SOCON instrumentation and anterior or posterior interbody fusion with TFC. Among them, 6 patients underwent RF instrumentation and posterior interbody fusion with TFC, 15 SOCON instrumentation and posterior interbody fusion with TFC, and 5 RF instrumentation and anterior interbody fusion with composite cortical ring.

Focal fibrocartilaginous dysplasia has previously been described as an etiology of genu varum deformity in children at about walking age. We have found 20 cases in the literature, and all of them were located in the medial proximal tibial metaphysis. We report five additional cases of this entity. The patients had a genu varum deformity, and the angulation was at the site of the bone lesion. Four cases were in the tibia, and one case was in the distal medial femoral metaphysis. Both clear cell odontogenic carcinoma (CCOC) and sclerosing odontogenic carcinoma (SOC) are rare odontogenic malignancies. Here, we report a case of maxillary CCOC whose clinical and histologic features resembled those of SOC. Radiologically, the tumor presented as an ill-defined, expansile radiolucency with local bone destruction.
