MnOx/graphene composites were prepared and employed to enhance the performance of manganese oxide (MnOx) for the capture of elemental mercury (Hg(0)) in flue gas. Venom from the scorpion Pandinus cavimanus was obtained by electrical stimulation of the telson (stinger).
