A 35-year-old man was referred to our hospital because of left supraclavicular and cervical lymphadenopathies. Histopathological examination of the lymph nodes revealed reactive lymphadenopathy. PURPOSE: Accurate initial staging in breast carcinoma is important for treatment planning and for establishing the likely prognosis. The purpose of this study was to assess the utility of whole body simultaneous (18)F-FDG PET-MRI in initial staging of breast carcinoma.

OBJECTIVES: It is well known that Alzheimer's disease (AD)-type pathology is commonly present in dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) brains and that the degree of AD-type pathology has an influence on the clinical characteristics of DLB. OBJECTIVES: Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is the second most common primary hepatic malignancy after hepatocellular carcinoma. ICC can be divided into 2 types according to their location: peripheral and hilar types. Intense F-FDG uptake on PET was reported in peripheral ICC. However, the usefulness of PET/CT in detecting tumors and predicting prognosis in peripheral ICC has not been fully evaluated. Advanced-stage mycosis fungoides (MF) has a generally poor prognosis. Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation improves the outcome of advanced-stage MF. Recently, cord blood has been used as an alternative stem cell source; however, there are few reports of MF patients treated using cord blood transplantation.
