BACKGROUND: Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy is an established therapy for relapsed or refractory hematologic malignancies. Traditionally, it has been administered in outpatient or inpatient settings at urban academic medical centers that are affiliated with established stem cell transplantation programs.
