PURPOSE: To assess treatment and visit patterns among patients with newly diagnosed anatomical narrow angle (ANA) and identify sociodemographic factors associated with disparities in care.
DESIGN: Retrospective practice pattern evaluation study.
METHODS: A total of 263,422 patients diagnosed with ANA between 2007 and 2019 were identified in the Optum Clinformatics Data Mart. RATIONALE: Angle closure glaucoma (ACG) is one of the most emergent types of glaucoma in clinical practice. Laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI) could minimize pupillary block and prevent ACG from an acute attack. However, recurrent increase in intraocular pressure (IOP) may still occur despite successful LPI. BACKGROUND: The development of rhegmatogenous retinal detachments (RRDs) in eyes with a history of congenital glaucoma (CG) is very rare. We present the characteristics and surgical outcomes of three cases with a RRD who had CG and had undergone surgery many years earlier.
CASES: Three men, ages 14, 43, and 48 years of age, each with a history of surgery for primary CG, presented with a RRD. All of the eyes were highly myopic. The retinal tears were located at the equator in all cases. The degree of RRD were superior half, total, and total (proliferative vitreoretinopathy).

Mononuclear cell infiltrate (MCI) in the uvea was observed in naïve, untreated (control group) cynomolgus monkeys in approximately 25% of drug safety evaluation studies. The total incidence of MCI in the choroid and the ciliary body was 29% of 342 males and 25% of 306 female monkeys. In the studies in which MCI was present in the ciliary body or choroid, the incidence was as high as 75%. There were no other ocular histopathologic findings in these monkeys. All monkeys were clinically healthy and the eyes were not remarkable when examined ophthalmoscopically.

Cryptophthalmos is a condition of congenital eyelid malformation most commonly accompanied by syndactyly, urogenital anomalies, and cognitive impairments as in Fraser syndrome. PURPOSE: To describe the development of Fuchs' heterochromic iridocyclitis (FHI) following bilateral ocular toxoplasmosis in an Asian Indian female.
METHODS: Case report of a patient with bilateral ocular toxoplasmosis who developed bilateral Fuchs' heterochromic iridocyclitis.
RESULTS: Features characteristic of bilateral Fuchs' heterochromic iridocyclitis developed following several attacks of bilateral toxoplasmic retinochoroiditis in a 26-year-old Indian female patient.
CONCLUSION: Fuchs' heterochromic iridocyclitis can develop over a period of time in patients with ocular toxoplasmosis
