Intelligent health promotion system-based construction and implementation of exercise intervention for older adults with frailty and prefrailty.

BACKGROUND: Frailty in the elderly population is increasing, and the development of high-quality clinical practice guidelines or consensuses can guide medical staff to better provide health services for frail elderly individuals. In recent years, scholars at home and abroad have actively explored exercise intervention management in elderly individuals with frailty or prefrailty. How to rapidly generalize interventions with "known and definite effects" for the community-dwelling frail elderly population is the core issue of the research on frailty. There is a lack of study regarding whether dig

Effect of an Integrated Exercise Training Program on Muscle Mass and Functional Capacity in Sarcopenic Patients With Decompensated Liver Cirrhosis.

BACKGROUND: Liver cirrhosis is an end-stage disease with extensive fibrosis that disrupts normal architecture and impairs hepatic function. Progression to decompensation triggers severe complications like ascites, jaundice, and hepatic encephalopathy. A major extrahepatic consequence is sarcopenia (muscle wasting), which affects over 65% of these patients. Driven by ammonia accumulation and chronic inflammation, this muscle loss drastically increases frailty and mortality risk. Combined aerobic and resistance exercise (CARE) represents a highly promising, underutilized rehabilitation strategy

Caregiver Perspectives on the Use of Tele-Assessment for Toddlers with Developmental Concerns.

Most telehealth studies have focused on caregiver satisfaction with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessments. Few have examined caregiver perceptions of direct-to-home telehealth evaluations for children with developmental concerns broader than ASD. The current study explored caregiver perspectives (N = 439) of the telehealth process, including technology barriers and satisfaction with remote delivery of diagnostic feedback, before and after a 24-month tele-assessment, in children from four outcome groups (ASD, Speech-Language Concerns, Other Developmental Concerns, and No Concerns). The res
