We determined the prevalence of cryptosporidiosis in HIV seronegative children 15 years of age and below presenting with diarrhoea in the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Nepal. In a 17-year-old male patient with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, who was being treated with chemotherapy, a Staphylococcus epidermidis infection with several septicaemias developed during a period of protracted neutropenia.
