There are different procedures for surgical treatment of a recidivating ventral dislocation of the shoulder. In our hospital the rotatory osteotomy according to Weber proved good; in accordance with the findings it can be combined with other procedures. The surgical procedures and our results are explained. In our opinion, this surgical treatment will effect, besides known results (rotation of head defect to lateral), an essential stabilisation of the joint, by means of strain exercised on M. infraspinatus and the upper part of M. teres minor.

INTRODUCTION: Functional-traumatic lesions of the vocal folds include mucous stranding, "nodular" lesions, polyps, cysts, contact hyperplasia and haematoma [1]. They all appear at the predilection sites of the vocal fold, at the junction between the anterior and middle thirds, slightly below the free edge. Vocal fold cysts are also located at the predilection site. They interfere with the glottic closure and vibration process. The treatment consists of surgical enucleation. OBJECTIVE: A new surgical approach, denoted as the minor parotid anterior approach, was designed to treat medial or low mandibular condylar fractures.
STUDY DESIGN: Sixty patients (72 sides) with medial or low condylar fractures were treated surgically. Thirty-six patients (42 sides) were treated with the minor parotid anterior approach, and 24 patients (30 sides) were treated with a retromandibular approach.
