This study investigated how achievement goals and students' approaches to learning were jointly associated with academic success in business education. Drawing on survey data from 195 first-semester students enrolled in an introductory accounting course at a Nordic business school, we employed latent profile analysis to identify distinct learning profiles. Structured interviews with managers were used to collect information on the extent and level of food hygiene and HACCP training and the manager's perceptions of and attitude towards training. A pervasive cultural practice called 'jaboya' or women trading sex for fish exists at Nyamware Beach, on Lake Victoria in Kenya, where the fishing industry is the primary source of income. Ulcerative keratitis comprises an important proportion of presenting ocular complaints in small animals. Because of its high frequency, corneal ulceration may not routinely stimulate the clinical concern for rigorous diagnosis, attentive management, and aversion of potential complications that it merits. Only by maintaining an appreciation for the pathologic processes at work during corneal injury and repair can busy clinicians competently diagnose, successfully treat, and forestall the complications of corneal ulceration.
