In this paper we report the characterization of the dichloromethane (DCM)/water interface in terms of density profile, width, and surface structure. Investigations into the charge-separated states and electron-transfer transitions in tetracyanoethylene (TCNE) complexes have recently generated much interest. In this work we present theoretical calculations showing that the most stable structure of the dianion TCNE2- has D2d symmetry in vacuum as well as in the solvents dichloromethane and acetonitrile. By means of the coupled cluster linear response, we compute the vertical electronic spectrum in both the gas phase and solution. The theoretical results are compared to the experimental data and good agreement is achieved.

OBJECTIVE: To compare the performance of Fenton Growth Chart (FGC) with WHO Growth Chart (WGC) to identify term infants at risk for hypoglycemia.
STUDY DESIGN: A retrospective study of infants screened for hypoglycemia due to SGA or LGA status determined by FGC and/or WGC.

DESIGN: Prospective observational cohort study in women with moderate to severe adenomyosis (n = 26) or a normal uterus (n = 40) undergoing TVS during assisted conception. TVS recordings (n = 143) were conducted at baseline, day 6-10 of ovarian stimulation and day of embryo transfer by operator A, and then repeated by operator A, B or C.
