Fractional flow reserve (FFR) measurement for functional evaluation of haemodynamic relevance of coronary artery stenoses is a well established and straightforward method applied on daily basis in cardiac catheterization laboratory; it is known to be reliable, reproducible and secure associated with a low rate of adverse events.
