Lymphangioleiomyomatosis is an uncommon lung disease primarily affecting women of childbearing age. He was well … but negative for myeloperoxidase, CD42b, glycophorin, B cell marker, T cell marker, cytokeratin and desmin. We finally diagnosed the condition as myeloid sarcoma. Subsequently, the patient's ET transformed into acute myeloid leukemia. To our knowledge, this is an exceedingly rare event involving a patient with essential thrombocythemia.

Aggressive angiomyxoma is a rare, benign but locally aggressive mesenchymal neoplasm, which occurs almost exclusively during the reproductive years of women. A 28-year-old woman developed an aggressive angiomyxoma within the left labium minus of the vulva. The tumor was excised, but the lesion was expanded to the surgical margins. The study included 25 patients with angiomyolipoma of the kidney. None of them had any signs of tuberous sclerosis. Serious clinical complications such as massive hemorrhage (2/25) and hydronephrosis (2/25) were documented in four patients. We report a case of sarcoma botryoides of the uterine cervix occurring in a 19-year-old woman. By light microscopy the tumor showed round and spindle cells with hyperchromatic nuclei and, focally, a cambium layer subjacent to the surface epithelium and surrounding endocervical glands. An immunohistochemical study was performed on nodules excised from the palmar fascia of patients with Dupuytren's contracture. In cellular nodules, antibodies to actin (used as a marker for myofibroblasts), desmin, vimentin, Mac 387 (a macrophage marker) and leucocyte common antigen were used. Three cases of PSCN that developed 6-8 weeks after operations to the lower genital tract in two women, and after tooth removal in a 9-year-old boy are described.
