A 23-year-old female presented with enlarged cervical lymph nodes, and a diagnosis of nonspecific lymphadenitis with formation of pyogranulomas was rendered. Clinical, epidemiological and epizootic features of Q fever in the northern coastal part of Croatia from 1989 to 1998.

Although Q fever is endemic in the northern coastal part of Croatia, it usually occurs sporadically. Analysis of 58 patients hospitalized for Q fever during the last 10-year period (1989-1998) revealed some differences in the clinical manifestation compared to a previous study (1954-1977). Most cases of Q fever (N = 55; 91%), presented with pneumonia, but no rash was noticed, compared to 46% of patients with Q fever developing exanthema in the previous study. Bile duct cancer associated with extramammary Paget's disease.

We report a case of bile duct cancer associated with anogenital Paget's disease. The patient was a 80-yr-old Japanese woman whose chief complaint was exanthema from the left vulva to the anus for the previous 4 yr. Histological examination of the skin biopsy of the vulva showed numerous Paget's cells. Resection of the lesion and the rectum were performed, and a permanent colostomy was created. In this study we report on the clinical characteristics at the time of referral and during follow-up of 50 patients with primary Sjögren's syndrome (SS) in a rheumatological practice. The mean age of the patients at the time of diagnosis was 51.5 years. Four of them were men and 46 women.
