Lipoleiomyoma is a rare, benign leiomyoma variant. Intrauterine devices (IUDs) are the most common form of contraceptive used worldwide. The imaging features of IUDs and their potential complications are crucial to recognize in order to determine adequate positioning and ultimately function of the IUD. OBJECTIVES: To review the characteristic ultrasound features of primary fallopian tube carcinoma (PFTC) and its relationship to the clinical history in order to establish specific findings useful for the preoperative diagnosis.
METHOD: An extensive review of the current literature was done on Medline via PubMed by using the following keywords: "primary fallopian tube cancer", "tubal cancer", "adnexal malignancy mass" and "ultrasound".
RESULTS: PFTC corresponds to complex, sausage-shaped structures or cystic adnexal masses. A thick and an irregular capsule are in favour of a malignant lesion.

Isolated fallopian tube torsion is a rare pregnancy-related complication. It is frequently misdiagnosed as acute appendicitis or ovarian torsion owing to the lack of specific symptoms or signs. Here, the authors report a case of a 35-year-old primigravida at 30 weeks and six days of gestation who had presented with right isolated fallopian tube torsion and a history of right oophorectomy. The authors propose that isolated fallopian tube torsion should be included in the list of differential diagnosis when encountered with patients complaining of lower abdominal pain.

INTRODUCTION: Tubal blockage is one of the most common causative factors for female barrenness. It accounts for about 25-35% of female infertility. It is very difficult to manage, as the treatment choices for it are only tubal re-constructive surgery and in vitro fertilization (IVF).
