Our experience with a modified staircase technique for closure of lower lip defects is reported. The procedure is based on the original technique of Johanson et al. (1974). However, the integrity of the orbicularis oris muscle is respected when advancing lower lip flaps. We describe the clinicopathologic and immunohistochemical features of the first reported case of an ovarian low-grade serous carcinoma metastatic to the cervix mimicking a cervical primary. This article presents a female patient in her 40s who presented with a tender violaceous bump on her upper right lip. Our primary differential diagnosis was an arteriovenous malformation. Punch biopsy revealed the lesion to be an angioleiomyoma (ALM). The punch biopsy was sufficient for the complete removal of the lesion, and the lesion did not recur to date. There were no complications. We discuss the dermatoscopic description of an ALM and its clinical picture.

OBJECTIVES: This study investigate the clinical and imaging features of Ewing sarcoma (ES) of the jaw.
METHODS: Eight cases of pathologically diagnosed ES of the jaw from January 2010 to June 2022 were included in the study. Clinical and radiological features were retrospectively analyzed.

The incidence of oral condylomata acuminata and simultaneous genital condylomata is not known. A review of the literature implies that the disease is rare, but it is more likely that it is only rarely reported. As the virus is autoinoculable and transmissible, the etiologic factor in this case of oral condylomata acuminatum is most likely orogenital contact. This case report serves as a reminder also that oroanogenital contact expands the anatomic range of sexually transmitted diseases.
