Much has been written about the well-being of healthcare employees; the COVID-19 pandemic brought these issues into acute focus. Literature supports that partnerships among professional organizations, healthcare systems, governments, and universities can enhance healthcare worker and trainee well-being and retention. The author continues to follow the progress of a healthcare system dealing with the stress, guilt, grief, and burnout stemming from effects of a pandemic. This article discusses participation in two national initiatives that foster clinician resilience and well-being.

The sense of agency, the feeling of being the author of one's actions and outcomes, is critical for decision-making. While prior research has explored its neural correlates, most studies have focused on neutral tasks, overlooking moral decision-making. In addition, previous studies mainly used convenience samples, ignoring that some social environments may influence how authorship in moral decision-making is processed. This study investigated the neural correlates of sense of agency in civilians and military officer cadets, examining free and coerced choices in both agent and commander roles.

Self-control is a well-known inhibitor of aggression, but the effect of self-control on different kinds of aggression (such as reactive-proactive aggression) and the underlying mediating mechanisms of these effects are unclear.
