BACKGROUND: Venous thrombosis in nephrotic syndrome is a well-described phenomenon. We report a case of an adult patient with an isolated thrombus in the right ventricle due to nephrotic syndrome, which was initially suspected to be a myxoma.

Improvements in surgical technique and perioperative care have resulted in increased long-term survival for patients with congenital heart disease. As these patients begin to reach their later years, clinicians are challenged with determining optimal management of noncardiac diseases in this complex patient population, including surgically treatable malignancies. We present a case of esophageal cancer in a patient with previously repaired tetralogy of Fallot and right-sided aortic arch, treated with neoadjuvant therapy followed by laparoscopic and left thoracoscopic esophagectomy.

BACKGROUND: Antiarrhythmic therapy is commonly used for suppression of arrhythmias in patients with arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) in conjunction with implantable cardioverter-defibrillators and catheter ablation. The efficacy of combination flecainide and sotalol/metoprolol therapy for patients refractory to single agents and/or catheter ablation has not been well established.

PURPOSE: We performed this retrospective study to evaluate the usefulness of a transnasal decompression tube(long ileus tube)as a bridge to surgery in patients with right-sided obstructive colorectal cancer.

BACKGROUND: An anomalous origin of the right coronary artery is rarely observed, with a reported incidence between 0.026% and 0.25%. This condition is often completely asymptomatic and is found incidentally during angiographic evaluation for other cardiac diseases. However some patients present with exertion angina or sudden death. Surgical treatment in patients with anomalous RCA is still controversial. Treatment can be conservative, angioplasty or surgery.

Right lower quadrant pain is one of the most common symptoms of the emergency patients. For accurate diagnosis and treatment; the patients must be questioned and examined very well. Also accompanying conditions due to right lower quadrant pain may be noticed. In this case presentation, we discussed a patient who was presented with right lower quadrant pain and cervical dystonia. By limiting the usage of metoclopramide the patient was followed seamlessly. In this case presentation we want to accentuate that a patient who with abdominal pain may be presented with rare symptoms such of dystonia.
