We report a case of carcinosarcoma of the renal pelvis and ureter arising in an 89-year-old man who presented at our hospital with gross hematuria. Abdominal computed tomography, excretory pyelography, and retrograde pyelography demonstrated that left hydronephrosis was caused by an ureteral tumor. Left urine cytology indicated transitional cell carcinoma. The patient underwent chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Inverted papilloma of the upper urinary tract is a rare lesion. To our knowledge, we report here the 32nd case of inverted papilloma of the renal pelvis. A 50-year-old man presented with asymptomatic gross hematria. Excretory urography showed a filling defect in the left upper calyx. A 9-year-old boy presented with an asymptomatic scrotal mass that was separate from the testes. The workup included a scrotal ultrasound scan and voiding cystourethrogram. On surgical exploration, the mass was solid, separate from the testes, and extended into the pelvis. The mass was removed, and pathologic examination revealed an epidermoid cyst. This is an uncommon scrotal lesion in boys and may represent a monodermal teratoma or abnormal closure of the median raphe. To our knowledge, this is only the second case report of an epidermoid cyst of the scrotum extending into the true pelvis.

Since August 1989, we have seen 4 patients with leukoplakia of the renal pelvis associated with a longstanding renal stone. In 2 of them, excretory or retrograde pyelography revealed multiple filling defects in the left renal pelvis as well as a renal stone, although urine cytological examination was negative. We present the case of a 62 year old woman who complained of a gluteal tumor and disability to walk 11 months before death.
