INTRODUCTION: Periorbital metastasis of colorectal cancer is rare. Therefore, herein, we report a patient with rectal cancer who presented with periorbital metastasis without any systemic metastasis.
PATIENT CONCERNS: The patient was a 57-year-old man who had a painless nodule on his left eyelid.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women but gastro- intestinal metastases of breast cancer are rare. They can occur years after the diagnosis or at the diagnosis of breast cancer. We report the case of a patient complaining of dyschesia, tenesmus and anal incontinence leading to the discovery of a rectal metastasis of an unknown breast neoplasia. Given the oligo-metastatic condition, multidisciplinary and aggressive management was the chosen therapy.

OBJECTIVE: We report one case of metastatic dissemination of a rectal adenocarcinoma to the prepuce.
METHODS: 61-year-old patient with the diagnosis of rectal adenocarcinoma treated 18 months before by surgery and chemotherapy. He presents with a painful enlargement of the penis associated with outgrowing erythematous lesions in the skin of the prepuce that bled on touch and did not allow the vision of the meatus and the glans penis. Physical examination showed the presence of hypogostric, penile and scrotal lymphedema. Circumcision was performed.

Metastatic disease of colon and rectal carcinoma accounts for a high proportion of cancer related deaths. The common organs involved in metastatic diseases include liver, lung, brain and bone. Although, theoretically possible, metastasis to the other organs are rare. We report the first case of carcinoma of the rectum with a solitary metastasis to the glans penis.

The aim of this study was to clarify the morphogenesis and mechanism of a wide intramucosal extension of a superficial spreading (epithelial) tumor (SST; defined as an epithelial tumor with wide intramucosal spreading involving a diameter of 30 mm or more) in the colon and rectum. In a large series of patients with carcinoma of the sigmoid colon and rectum there was a delay in diagnosis due to misinterpretation of the physical signs in 36 cases (2.3%). The causes of the misdiagnosis were haemorrhoids, radiological misinterpretation, and chronic inflammatory disease. A miscellaneous variety completed the series. A study of the survival of those patients in whom there was a delay in diagnosis shown that it is most unlikely that it actually affected adversely the prognosis of these patients.

A case of giant condyloma of Buschke and Loewenstein is presented. The clinical course and pathology of these tumors are reviewed. This case illustrates the delay in establishing the diagnosis in spite of numerous biopsies. It is emphasized that the only effective treatment is wide local excision.

This report is concerned with a twenty-five year old female with endometriosis of the recto-sigmoid-colon. Due to medication intolerance a trial with hormone therapy had to be discontinued. After several years of illness an ileus and ureter-stenosis developed and several operations were necessary to alleviate these conditions. A survey of the frequency and localization of extragenital endometriosis followed by a discussion of pathogenesis, clinic and alternatives of therapy.
