Choristoma in the larynx is rare and related to thyroid or glial tissue. The manifestation of salivary gland tissue in the larynx has not been reported to date. We present the case of an 80 year old male complaining of hoarseness and productive coughing. A left side tumourous swelling was seen in the larynx with intact vocal cord mobility. BACKGROUND: Few previous reports of carrot-induced asthma have been confirmed by objective tests. Hypersensitivity to carrot is frequently associated with allergy to Apiaceae spices and sensitization to birch and mugwort pollens.
CLINICAL CASE: A 40-year-old cook woman was seen with sneezing, rhinorrhea, contact urticaria and wheezing within few minutes of handling or cutting raw carrots. She needed to leave out of the kitchen while the other cooks cut raw carrots.

The aim of this investigation was to study pharmacological treatment in relation to asthma severity among patients visiting an asthma web site on the Internet. The study comprised 650 subjects from 30 countries with self-reported asthma that participated in an Internet based patient survey. An 18-year-old male preferred to our clinic with hemoptysis, cough, dyspnea and stridor. A wide-based polypoid tumor that was localized at the right wall of the distal trachea was observed over 3 cm from the carina by flexible bronchoscope. Computerized tomography showed an intraluminal soft tissue density mass in the trachea. Though right thoracotomy, a tracheal resection that contains three rings of the trachea with malignant lesion was performed. Pathologic examination reported a tracheal mucoepidermoid carcinoma. The patient is alive without recurrence three years after surgery.
