We have previously reported that pyridoxine shows UVA-induced cytotoxicity. Four other vitamin B6 compounds (pyridoxal, pyridoxamine, pyridoxal phosphate, and pyridoxamine phosphate) are metabolically more important in vivo than pyridoxine.
