In addition to TP53 mutations, many other genetic changes are involved in pelvic serous carcinogenesis. We report a rare case of adenomyoma localized only in the left fallopian tube mimicking tubal malignant tumor. A 45-year-old woman presented with mild pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea and left adnexal mass. Isolated tubal torsion is a rare event. The clinical presentation is often nonspecific and the diagnosis is difficult, especially in the gravida abdomen. If left untreated, torsion can result in premature labour and foetal loss, as well as maternal morbidity. Isolated torsion of the fallopian tube is a rare medical emergency, especially in premenarchal girls. We present a 9-year-old girl with right-sided lower abdominal pain. Isolated torsion of the fallopian tube was suspected preoperatively because of the clinical presentation combined with the results of ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We studied incidence of PFTC in occupational categories in the Nordic female population aged 30-64 years during the 1960, 1970, 1980/1981 and/or 1990 censuses in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. This is the case report of a 61-year-old woman who presented with progressive diplopia and ataxia.
