The catalyst CuSO4-CeO2/TiO2-SiO2 (CuSO4-CeO2/TS), for low temperature catalytic reduction (LT-SCR) of NO with NH was prepared by the impregnation method. The impacts of H2O and SO2 on the catalyst were investigated. Experiments showed that H2O brought down the catalyst's activity at low reaction temperature. However, this negative effect of H2O could be mostly eliminated with a raised temperature of above 220 degrees C. INTRODUCTION: Intoxication with ethylene glycol occurs as a result of intentional ingestion in suicide attempts or accidentally. Clinical ethylene glycol poisoning is not specific and occurs in many poisoning cases therefore the diagnosis is difficult. Early diagnostic and establishment of therapy are very important for a favorable evolution. Two suicidal cases associated with ingestion of diphenhydramine (DPH) were reported. Case 1 is a typical DPH overdose case of a young man with the blood DPH concentration of 12.2 microg/ mL. Case 2 is a double suicide of a man and a woman. They ingested DPH and fell asleep in a vehicle which had a cooking clay charcoal stove. Their blood DPH concentrations were 0.4 and 0.7 microg/mL, which were high enough to make them sleep. The Recompression Treatment Centre on Stonecutters Island has been operating in Hong Kong for more than 5 years and has been used to treat a variety of diving-related and other conditions by means of hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
