Divorce transition experienced by and its influence upon midlife women's health is not fully understood. Interviews were conducted with 24 divorced women who self-classified into decider status groups: initiator (who first decided to end marriage), non-initiator (recipient of end of marriage decision), and mutual decider (shared decision to end marriage). Interpretive content analysis involving pattern coding was conducted. The concept of using viruses as oncolytic agents has a long history. However, relatively new developments are the use of these viruses as gene delivery vehicles and the restriction of viral replication and lysis to tumour cells. The latter is attempted by the use of tumour-specific promoters, which transcriptionally target viral genes involved in replication, or by deletion of viral functions dispensable for replication in tumour cells but essential for productive infection of normal cells. In addition, retargeting of the viral tropism towards tumours by capsid modifications has been examined.

Clinical and laboratory features have been reviewed in 66 episodes of disseminated histoplasmosis that occurred during two large urban outbreaks in Indianapolis. We have used a comprehensive protocol to identify secondary forms of hypertension and operated upon 77 patients with functionally significant renovascular disease. The population included 52 patients with atherosclerotic renal arterial lesions (31 unilateral and 21 bilateral) and 25 patients with fibrodysplasia (19 unilateral and 6 bilateral). We have compared the mechanisms of entry into host cells of three enveloped viruses: Sendai virus, vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) and Sindbis virus.
