BACKGROUND: Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) is caused by human papilloma virus (HPV) and is the most common benign laryngeal neoplasm in children. Although RRP is rarely fatal, the disease requires prolonged, extensive medical and surgical treatment, leading to physical and emotional suffering in affected children and their families. Previous studies show HPV type 11 and type 6 in the lesion of Thai subjects with RRP. There is currently no published data available from Thailand that compares staging and severity with RRP genotypes.

OBJECTIVES: To report on a case of primary renal lymphoma (PRL) and update the literature concerning this topic.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: A 48-year-old woman underwent surgery for the presumed diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma with bilateral adrenal metastases.
RESULTS: The neoplasm was assessed as primary renal non-Hodgkin high grade lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell type. Then the patient underwent polychemotherapy according to the VACOP-B protocol. Unfortunately, 5 weeks later the patient was lost since missing chemotherapy and follow-up.
CONCLUSIONS: PRL is a distinct pathological and clinic

Surgical oncology is experiencing rapid transition in veterinary medicine. Mast cell tumors and soft tissue sarcomas are two of the most common neoplasms in small animal patients. Clinicians should be familiar with the need for staging and the procedures involved in treating patients with these tumors. Ovarian cancer and malignancies of the uterine cervix and corpus are the most commonly encountered gynecologic neoplasms in clinical practice. Although of little value in both diagnosis and early-stage gynecologic malignancy, fluorodeoxyglucose-PET and PET/computed tomography provide accurate detection of metastatic disease in advanced malignancy and better delineation of recurrent disease compared with conventional imaging.

Non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHL) involving the vulva are rare. We report the clinicopathologic and immunohistochemical findings of six cases of vulvar NHL. The age of the patients ranged from 43 to 71 years (mean 60 years), and 5 presented with a vulvar mass. Two patients had neoplasms localized to the vulva, and two patients had a history of NHL that secondarily involved the vulva; in another patient the stage was unknown, and the sixth patient had stage IVA mycosis fungoides/Sezary syndrome involving the vulva.
