Satisfactory intrascrotal position of the testicles was achieved by dividing the spermatic vessels, leaving the vas deferens intact, in 3 patients with undescended testes. A postoperative scrotal scan provided objective means of evaluating the adequacy of testicular circulation. To determine the efficacy of various procedures for orchiopexy for undescended testes we suggest that postoperative evaluation include radionuclide imaging of the scrotum.

A case of solitary crossed renal ectopia with concomitant, severe vesicoureteral reflux and a rudimentary ipsilateral ectopic ureter draining into the vas deferens is presented. In addition to these anomalies the patient had complete urethral duplication and right cryptorchidism, as well as right congenital dislocation of the hip. To our knowledge this is the first such case to be documented in the medical literature.

A case of immotile-cilia syndrome associated with azoospermia is presented. This diagnosis is based on a typical history of bronchitis, sinusitis, situs inversus, impaired nasal mucociliary clearance and characteristic ultrastructural defect in the respiratory tract cilia and in the sperm tail. Semen analysis showed azoospermia with no evidence of obstruction in the epididymis or vas deferens; there was normal spermatogenesis.

AIM: To evaluate the antifertility activity of various extracts of Crotalaria juncea seeds in male mice.
METHODS: Adult male mice were gavaged the petroleum ether, benzene and ethanol extracts of C. juncea seeds, 25 mg x (100g)(-1) x day(-1) for 30 days.
