The contents of progesterone and oestrogen, and their respective receptors in uterine leiomyomata and adjacent normal myometrial tissue in indigenous black women in Kenya were studied. This is a clinical study to evaluate the efficacy, clinical side effects and in lipid metabolism of a new hormonal contraceptive preparation containing 75 mcg. of ethinyloestradiol.
