This study is a retrospective review of the transcervical fluoroscopy-guided fallopian tube recanalisation (FTR) procedures done in a multi-ethnic south-east Asian population, over 9 years. A total of 100 patients with infertility and documented proximal tubal obstruction (PTO) were referred for FTR. On-table hysterosalpingography under sedation demonstrated true PTO in 96 patients. At selective-salpingography, the PTO cleared in 16 patients; 78 required FTR and two had fimbrial blockage. The technical success rate of FTR was 86.8% and the post-FTR pregnancy rate was 36.84% at a mean follow-up

A rare coexistence of an adenofibroma and ectopic pregnancy in the left fallopian tube is reported. Adenofibroma is a rare benign neoplasm of the fallopian tube, and the fallopian tube is the most common site of ectopic pregnancies. However, coexistence of such rare tumor and ectopic pregnancy is extremely rare. Review of literature has not revealed another case of such coexistence in English literature. In the present case, the adenofibroma was found at the fimbrial end. Placental tissue, consisting of chorionic villi and trophoblastic cells was present in the ampulla of fallopian tube.

INTRODUCTION: Primary fallopian tube carcinoma are extremely rare and are most commonly of serous or endometrioid type. Primary squamous cell carcinomas are exceptional with only three cases reported in the English literature.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: We present the case of a 43-year-old woman operated for cervical carcinoma.
RESULTS: Histologic examination, showed a squamous cell carcinoma of cervix with post operative discovery of a concomitant microinvasive squamous carcinoma of fallopian tube developing on high grade dysplasia and in situ carcinoma lesions.

Benign solid teratomas within the fallopian tube are rare. The incidence of this kind of benign solid teratoma of the fallopian tube associated with intrauterine leiomyomas is extremely low and may complicate the clinical manifestations. Here, we report a 40-year-old female with periodic lower abdominal pain and hypermenorrhea who was found to have 3 nodules within the uterine myometrium and left distended fallopian tube. Final pathology revealed benign solid teratoma of the fallopian tube associated with 3 intrauterine leiomyomas. Primary teratoma of the fallopian tube is extremely uncommon.

OBJECTIVE: To determine whether women with secondary infertility have a lower prevalence of tubal pathology as evidenced by hysterosalpingographic (HSG) analysis.
STUDY DESIGN: A cross-sectional study was performed on 551 women seen for evaluation of infertility at an academic medical center. Each patient's chart was reviewed for the presence of primary vs. secondary infertility. History of sexually transmitted infection, prior surgery and details of prior pregnancies were recorded. The targeting of angiogenesis pathways in the treatment of gynecological cancers is an exciting development in cancer therapy. Bevacizumab has been shown to have activity in ovarian cancer through its inhibition of the vascular endothelial growth factor. Fallopian tube carcinoma is a rare malignancy and is often treated in a similar manner as ovarian carcinoma. We present a case of a complete response in a woman with refractory metastatic fallopian tube carcinoma treated with bevacizumab. This report demonstrates the significance of anti-angiogenesis therapy in the treatment of these tumors.

We conducted a retrospective seroepidemiological study to evaluate the relationship between past chlamydial infection and primary fallopian tube carcinoma (PFTC).
