Tracheal bronchus is a rare congenital anomaly of the bronchial tree, in which an aberrant bronchus originates in the trachea anywhere above the carina, but usually within 2 cm of it. Lung neoplasms that develop from tracheal bronchus have been identified only rarely. We present a case of tracheal bronchus that included a malignancy of the affected right upper lobe. The post-surgical histological stage was T4N0M0 stage IIIA. The patient was in good condition 24 months after the operation, and there was no evidence of recurrence. BACKGROUND: 46 cases of perforated colonic neoplasm (4.6% of the entire series): 11 (24%) of the right colon, 35 (76%) of the left colon; 19 males (41%) and 27 females (59%); mean age 67 years old, range 32-92 years. pTNM: stage II, 1 case (2%); stage III: 27 cases (59%); stage IV, 18 cases (39%). Umbilical metastasis (Sister Mary Joseph's nodule) of malignant neoplasms is a rare condition. These nodules usually arise from the gastrointestinal or genitourinary tract and may present the first sign of a previously unknown primary tumor. We describe a 49-year-old woman presenting with Sister Mary Joseph's nodule as the first sign of an extremely aggressive Stage IV mixed type epithelial ovarian carcinoma, who died 15 months after the initial diagnosis. This is the first case of a Sister Mary Joseph's nodule from a serous component of a Stage IV mixed type epithelial ovarian cancer.

Thymoma is the most common neoplasm in the anterior mediastinum. This report presents an extremely rare case of a type A thymoma with Masaoka's stage IV b due to lymph node metastasis. In 1997, a 59-year-old man underwent complete resection of a stage IV b type A thymoma with postoperative radiotherapy to the mediastinum. Small bowel malignancies are rare neoplasms, usually inaccessible to conventional endoscopy but detectable in many cases by cross-sectional imaging. Modern multidetector computed tomographies permit accurate diagnosis, complete pretreatment staging, and follow-up of these lesions.
