A 66-year-old male patient who had received chemoradiotherapy (CRT) for laryngeal cancer 2 years ago visited a local doctor complaining of dyspnoea and wheezing. CT scan showed narrowing of the trachea caused by a tumour. We intubated the trachea over the tumour using a bronchoscope. The diagnostic spectrum for scalp lesions is extensive and comprises either benign or malignant features. Cornu cutaneum (CC) is a well-recognized condition; however, its origin and natural course are not always obvious. We present the case of a 78-year-old male patient who was diagnosed with intracranial meningioma in 2014 and who subsequently refused treatment. He presented a new scalp lesion, resembling a horn, in the vertex region 1.5 years after his last follow-up. BACKGROUND: Medullary thyroid carcinoma accounts for approximately 1 to 2 % of all thyroid carcinoma cases. The most common route of dissemination is to locoregional lymph nodes. Distant metastases commonly affect bones, lungs, and liver. Clear cell carcinomas (CCCs) account for 1% of carcinomas of the salivary glands. A 63-year-old woman presented with a painless, nonulcerated, nodular mass on the right side of the tongue, without palpable neck nodes. The aim of the study was to discuss the case of Krukenberg tumor in a patient, eight years after the diagnosis and surgical treatment of gastric carcinoma. We have concluded that there was no safe period after which distant metastases may be excluded. In case of gastric carcinoma diagnosed in women, a regular gynecological examination is necessary due to a high propability of metastases into ovaries, even if the clinical stage of gastric carcinoma is low.
