The chromatic stability of nonvital discolored teeth, subjected to the combined intracoronal bleaching technique and to endodontic treatment, was evaluated at a distance of 16 yr (1989-2005). This article describes a case of root resorption of a maxillary non-vital immature incisor associated with an impacted and angulated mesiodens. The impacted tooth was surgically removed and the compromised incisor was subsequently endodontically treated. Over a period of 27 months the tooth was medicated with repeated applications of calcium hydroxide. A 27-year-old patient with an anomalous mandibular molar was referred for endodontic therapy. This article presents the procedures that must be considered for periapical cyst repair after nonsurgical endodontic treatment. The case of a periapical cyst associated to the left maxillary lateral incisor is reported. Nonsurgical root canal therapy was performed and lesion healing was confirmed radiographically after 24 months. Differential diagnosis, endodontic infection control, apical foramen enlargement and filling of the cystic cavity with a calcium hydroxide paste were important procedures for case resolution.

This article presents a case report of radicular cyst associated with an endodontically treated deciduous second molar causing displacement of the permanent successor, with accompanying buccal expansion. Cystic sac was removed surgically along with the involved tooth under general anesthesia. Healing was uneventful. Histopathologically the cystic sac was consistent with the features of radicular cyst. Unusual amorphous, eosinophilic, atubular material incorporated within the cystic epithelium was observed.

A single implant was inserted to replace the mandibular right lateral incisor in a 50-year-old Caucasian woman. After one month, an endodontic lesion formed on the adjacent canine, which went on to engulf the fixture. Even though endodontic therapy was instituted expeditiously on the canine, the implant exfoliated spontaneously the following month. There was a large radiolucency afterwards, suggesting resorption of both the labial and lingual cortical plates. A follow-up radiograph four months later revealed a residual detect along with delayed wound repair.
