PURPOSE: We retrospectively investigated the pathological diagnoses of pulmonary lesions presenting as pure ground-glass opacities (GGOs) to evaluate the risk of invasive malignancy.

External inflammatory root resorption after luxation injury is a frequent complication. This article describes a case of extensive external root resorption in the middle third of the root of a maxillary right incisor. Root canal treatment was performed followed by surgical intervention. The resorptive defect was debrided and part of the root was repaired with resin-modified glass ionomer cement. Postoperative follow-up revealed complete healing.

Ground-glass hepatocytes are the cardinal biopsy feature of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection and may also be present in other specific conditions, including Lafora's disease, cyanamide aversion therapy for alcohol use, patients with transplantation, uremia, and metabolic disorders. In this report, we present the case of a patient with adult-onset Still's disease who underwent percutaneous liver biopsy, which revealed ground-glass-like cytoplasmic inclusions and which is a very unusual finding.

OBJECTIVE: To assess the suitability of more-viscous conventional restorative glass ionomer cements (GICs) in a high-caries risk group of patients.
METHODS: Fifteen adult patients with radiation-induced caries were treated at a dental hospital by one dentist.
